Lovers of trekking and nature in general will find in Ville Olimpo an excellent starting point for excursions and walks.
Dominated by the Mount Lattari mountain range, Nocelle offers several walking trails nearby and among them the most famous and frequented is “The Path of Gods” (“Il Sentiero degli Dei”) which connects the village of Nocelle to Agerola. This 11 kilometer (7 mile) trail offers stunning views of the coast, spanning from the island of Capri to the Cilento area.
Olimpo Resort is 5 km from the Positano town centre and 6 km from the beach. Guests may use a public bus leaving every hour from the parking terminal of Nocelle to reach the centre of Positano.
In Positano you can choose among several boat excursions to explore the lovely small beaches and coves of the Amalfi coast.
Boat excursions you shouldn’t miss are the visits to the Smeraldo Grotto, the island of Capri and its famous Blue Grotto.
From Positano you can easily reach other towns of interest such as Sorrento, Capri, Ischia, Pompei, Naples, Amalfi and Ravello.
